Practise a language on random video chat
Apps teach words, but speaking with a real person is what makes a language stick. Random video chat gives you short, low-pressure conversations with people from other countries, for free.
Why it works

How to set it up on SpyMeLive
- Choose the language you want to practise in the language menu at the top of the page. The site is available in 22 languages.
- Press Start. We try to match you with people using the same language when possible.
- Use the text chat to type a word you cannot say, or ask the other person to write one down.

Tips for learners
- Say at the start that you are learning. Most people are happy to slow down.
- Keep a notebook: write down new words right after each conversation.
- Offer something back: help the other person with your native language.
