Random video chat on iPhone and Android, no app
You do not need to install an app to video chat with random people on your phone. SpyMeLive works in the phone browser: open the page, allow the camera and press Start.
iPhone and iPad (Safari)
- Open spymelive.com in Safari and tap Start video chat.
- Confirm that you are 18 or older.
- When Safari asks to use the camera and microphone, tap Allow.
- If you tapped Don't Allow by mistake, tap the aA icon in the address bar, open Website Settings and set Camera and Microphone to Allow. Also check Settings > Safari > Camera.
Android (Chrome)
- Open spymelive.com in Chrome and tap Start video chat.
- Confirm that you are 18 or older and tap Allow for the camera and microphone.
- If you blocked it, tap the icon to the left of the address, open Permissions and allow Camera and Microphone. Also check that Chrome itself has camera access in your phone's app settings.
Add it to your home screen
To open the chat like an app: in Safari tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. In Chrome open the menu and tap Add to Home screen. Nothing is downloaded from an app store.
Better video on a phone
- Hold the phone at eye level or lean it against something so the picture is steady.
- Face the light. A window in front of you works better than one behind you.
- Use Wi-Fi when you can. On mobile data the connection between two phones can take longer.
- Close other apps that use the camera, such as video calls or the camera app.
