By using SpyMeLive you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. The service
SpyMeLive connects you with random people for live video and text conversations, in a web browser, free of charge. Paid features may be introduced later. If so, they will be clearly labelled, with the full price including taxes, before you pay for anything.
2. Who may use it
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, and able to enter into a binding agreement.
- You must not use the service if you have been banned from it, or if the law of your country forbids you from using it or from receiving video communication services.
- You must not use the service if you are subject to trade or economic sanctions that apply to us, or in a place where use of it is prohibited.
3. Your conduct
You agree to follow the chat rules published on this site. You are responsible for what you show, say and write. You must not use the service for anything illegal, and you must not try to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload it.
4. Other users
People you meet are strangers. We do not screen them in advance, we do not verify who they are, and we do not endorse anything a user says or shows. Video, audio and messages are not stored by us and we cannot see them. Use your judgement and report anything that breaks the rules.
5. Moderation
We remove or restrict users who break the rules or the law. We may use both human moderators and automated tools (for example, an automatic temporary restriction when several people report the same connection). We will tell you the reason for a restriction where we can and where the law requires it. You can appeal by writing to support@spymelive.com, and a person will review your case. We may suspend or end your access at any time if we reasonably believe you have seriously or repeatedly broken these terms.
6. Illegal content and authorities
To report illegal content or activity, use the Report button during a chat, or write to support@spymelive.com. That address is also our single point of contact for authorities, and for users, for the purposes of laws such as the EU Digital Services Act and the UK Online Safety Act. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
7. Our rights
The SpyMeLive name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for personal use, but you may not copy, sell or exploit it commercially without our written permission.
8. Availability and changes to the service
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for it to work on modern browsers and devices, but we cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every connection will succeed, because that also depends on your network. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the service.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the actions or content of users. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for intentional misconduct. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory rights that the law of your country of residence gives you.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or when the law changes. We will publish the new version on this page with its date. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If a change is significant we will give reasonable notice first.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Cyprus, and the courts of Limassol, Cyprus have jurisdiction, except that: if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts of that country.
12. General
If part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, with the chat rules and the privacy policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
These terms are provided in many languages for convenience. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version prevails, unless the law of your country requires otherwise.
